Who are we?

Our interest in the Giant Schnauzers began in 1991, where Nina bought her first dog, Sicki. She was a cross between a Labrador and a Giant Schnauzer. However where the Labrador in her was, is a great question. She looked like a Giant Schnauzer and behaved as was she one!! She was a real great dog with a bunch of lovely eccentricities.

As we in 2002 decided to buy our second dog, we had no doubt, we wanted a Giant Schnauzer. We chose Sari from Kennel Maren Brems in Bindslev. At the begining Sicki showed some disaprovement with her new “little sister”, however as time went on, they became good friends. Sari learned a lot of good things from Sicki and we assume a few bad habits too ;-)

Unfortunately we had to put Sicki to sleep due to age in 2004.

Then began the hunt of a new sceond dog! Once you have had two dogs, it is hart only to have one. However, at that time it wasn´t easy to find a Giant Schnauzer puppie. Finally we found Sago in July 2004, and we brought him home as he was 9 months old.

Sari and Sago have got a great relationship today, and enjoy each others company!
Do you think it stops with two dog´s ? No, we want more!! Especially now where we have got room fore them. We live on a previous farm, in the middle between Nr. Broby and Haarby on Funen.

We are both interested in participation in shows with our dogs and do spend a great amoug of time on training ahead of the shows as well as time travelling across the country to attent the shows.

We believe it is important to stimulate our dogs metally as well as
physically, therefore do we also train dutifulness with Sari in the local Police Dog club and Sago in the local DCH club.

The litter we expect in September are our first, so we are quite excited and very much looking forward to the experiance!

Henrik

Henrik is 26 years old and works as locksmith in a company in Odense. Henrik is born on the island Langeland by Funen, so he has come closer to home after we have moved to Funen. Henrik takes care of the hard work with the dogs incl the grooming of our dogs. He does also train dutifulness with Sari.
If you a single time catch Henrik without a dog, he is proberly working on an old car, a hobby he has had fore years.

Nina

Nina is 33 years old and qualified as an animal keeper. Nina has been working with animals since 1998. She has been breeding several minor animals as the time has gone by.
Nina train dutifulness with Sago and takes care of the 5000 sqm garten. The previous owner was a garther, so there are quite a handful to maintain.
